Ahhh New Financial Year, how you excite me!

This is my first Financial Year roll over as a Bookkeeper - I never thought it could be so exhilarating. I have learnt so much in the last 6 months and I’m really looking forward to learning even more!

We started off the busy period with a little motivational get together at Manly on Tuesday afternoon - apart from the bitter wind by the water it was an exceptional outing! It started out with a busy morning at work making sure everything is as up to date as possible in preparation for the end of the month/year. After meeting in the office - we all took a well-deserved early mark at 4pm and piled into the cars.

What an adventure! I didn’t know the way so I followed Tina faithfully, but secretly sure she had no idea where she was either - turns out she knew exactly where she was going and I was just disorientated. I think it added to the fun of the afternoon!

We all got to Manly safely and headed into the Bavarian Bier Café, huddled by the fire with nice German comfort food. It was the perfect way to step into Winter and the busiest time of year for us here at Abacus.
